Web GIS Client

The main advantage of Web client is crucial link between client´s application and web services. Web GIS Client is an application programme for data work. It serves for connection to the work computer of server. End users can approach to data through the webpages of thin client in frame of 3 level architecture of Oracle Application Server. All processes are running on server site.

Web client

The Web client is an application environment, which runs on customers site including state of application in a web browser environment. No application session is conserved on the server site. The Web services ensure data access. All web client communication comes via HTTP(S) protocol.

Web

The Web service with REST interface ensures all HTTP(S) communications of The Web GIS Client with Server Object extended MapServer type. Communication of the web application comes thought ArcGIS Server Object Manager (SOM) componets via DCOM. Authentication performs on REST web layer of applicant services ArcGIS Server interface with token services.

Server

Server Object extension of MapServer type performs on data operation like as spatial and attributes selects, relace passing, attributes edits, creation of new objects - redline.

Underlaying map services making use of technic of map cache for ensured fast reaction over data portrayal, layers configuration for attribute searching and data editing.

Web services present data file and largely application logic. Web services run at ArcGIS Server environment. Dynamic map services used optimalized portrayal core of ArcGIS Server for viewing data.

Data operation such as attribute tasks, spatial tasks and data edits ensured extention of ArcGIS Server map service. This is an extention functionality of Server Object MapServer type, which enables full-value access for properties of ArcSDE geodatabase (relations, domains, data edits) for application.
